Spring install

Recommended Posts

I'm pondering the thought of getting new springs for my Lumina. Anyone here willing to install them and re-align the car? How much? I'm not replacing the struts yet.. just the springs. Either PM me or IM me at Bucky531.

A whopping $1750 for H&R. :(

I suggest doing a regular lowering spring with Koni Sports.

I suggest you get some struts.. DO they make KYB's for your car. There only 50 bucks a piece. If your struts are shot your ride will be really bouncy and if there arn't they will be soon because of the high spring rate.

Eibach doesn't make a lowering spring for you Lumina, unless you obtained a cross reference somewhere stating you can use the same springs off of a Monte Carlo or Malibu.

whoooooaaaaaa sorry I forgot the little face, and a jk...but it looks like all you guys think cutting springs makes your car ride like shit, well thats not true, i got a buddy that cut is springs on his mustang..i would bet that it could out handle a lot of the cats here, not starting a flame, but it is one hell of a ride, it doesnt bounce a lot it feel like a noramlly lowered ride, of and just to add about the shcok comment, when you drop a car its not always necessary to put new shocks on...
