Nitrousbird
Yes, I know my local F-buddy Larry does powdercoating, but he can't do my shock tower brace (won't fit in his oven). Are there any local places than can do it, FOR A REASONABLE price? I know places I can ship it to, but by the time I pay for shipping both ways, it isn't worth my time. Price is a BIG factor here. I don't want anything special, just powdercoated silver. I can buy a new one in silver for about $90 (could probably get it for that shipped), and sell mine for around $50, so the powdercoating would HAVE to be no more than $30 or I'll just toss a new one on there and sell mine. Dave1647545494
how big is it. I have a kiln you might be able to use if you can get the coating stuff. depends on the temp it has to be cooked at. lemme know some measurements and I'll let you know if it will fit. Guest stevil
STB? Why not just spray paint that bitch? I know powder coating is alot better, but it's the STB, not like a brake caliper or something that will get really hot, or take alot of abuse/exposed to the elements. Sure, it's under the hood but mine has never been hot or anything. I'd spend $2 and use some high temp silver paint on it. If it cracks, scratches, peels, flakes, whatever... then have it coated. slow4now
I have personally use Columbus Powder Coating. They do good work, but I'm not sure if they can meet your price point and they are located on the westside, right off of Fisher Rd just west of Wilson Rd.
