mrs.cos
i dont think the price really matters, does it? I mean, stealing is stealing.
Sully
Actually, the price does matter. I do believe there is a set amount. I don't know what that amount is, but if the value of the item is over that amount, then it's consider grand theft, which will hold a stronger penalty, than stealing a $10 item from Wally World. Over 500 is Grand Theft, which is a Felony. With a car, it is GTA.
Guest GSRchick714
Instead of sitting at home asking people on the forum, you might wanna hightail it to Mexico! haha just kidding! graemlins/lol.gif
Lustalbert
the penalty for stealing the car is way more than the car is worth. however, the people you will meet while serving your time are absolutely priceless.
Mensan
I know if some people catch you stealing their cars, it could be a capital offense. smile.gif

JCBCPA
So the consensus is, it is now worth stealing any car for the price you end up paying when you get caught.

Devils Advocate
I doubt that if she has done it/is planning on doing it, she wouldn't post about it on an internet forum that is frequented by police... Marc, now I know where you get your stupidity from (Just kidding, Mr Stock... )
Cougar1647545494
Yea, i'm pretty sure stealing any car is gta, which is a felony. Grand theft is set at anything over 500 dollars, such as a laptops, when people steal from work they're facing felonies... dumb dumb dumb, not worth it whatsoever.
