Found a new mouth to feed in the form of an 86 Benz. To help shorten my search, anyone know of a bank that wont give me crap about the cars age? It's a bit of a collectors car, and is reaching collectors age, andis jam packed with new goodies.

no clue man on something that old I think if you don't have stellar credit your gonna be hard pressed your only bet i can think of which sucks is pay cash or use a credit card because bascily thats what your doing is getting a unsecured loan

The frame miles are obsene, 238,000. Less then 80k on the motor though. I will be putting no less then 20% down, probably closer to 40%, and my credit is without flaw. I've had 2 other vehicle loans run their course, each of which was much more $ then this one will be.

You can get an unsecured loan.. the interest rate will be wayyyy up there though.

No traditional bank will loan on a 238k mile, 19 year old car. That is one FULLY depreciated asset. Try a specualty classic car company...do a google search.

Personal Loan and you purchase what you want. Your looking at 13%-14% and you can get it at 36 months. No out of pocket money. Call around for rates and they will even take the information off the phone and will call you with what you qualify for $$$.
