Hey guys, my name's Mike and I joined a while back but haven't posted yet. I figured I'd better join up since all my buddies are on here and I wouldn't mind hearing what other car guys in the area are up to. Anyways, I drive a '98 Dodge Avenger as my DD for the winter and fall, and the rest of the time I drive a '77 Datsun 280Z turbo.

Thx Kelli. Your GT is looking good too. I saw one of your earlier threads with a full pic. It's great to see a girl who's as concerned with her car's power as she is with its looks.

awww well thank you... but the stang is getting ready be sold and i'll hopefully be picking up something a little faster :D

but i have always had a love for datsuns, there just too hard to find in good condition so went ahead and bought a 240sx insted.

NICE Z! I had a 76 280 that i was doing a small block swap on (those inline 6's jsut dont make enough power for those cars) but kind of ran out of money and had to sell it. But I've always had a love for the datsuns, one day when I have more money I hope to pick another one up.

Thanks Supldys. I have a buddy who's also doing a small block chevy swap into a 280z. It definitely simplifies things a lot over going the turbo route. My I6 turbo setup is making real nice power though, and I can't complain at all. The motor has plenty more potential too. I'm only running 8 psi for now.
