John Bruh
Kinda looks like an SRT-4 crossed with a Acura TL Not Regular evo styling but id rock that as well!
HotCarl
If you look closely this car is in mitsubishi's new comercial. Something to do with "25 years or making great cars for america... etc.." it's at the very end. It was introduced as the concept X, but it will be the next EVO X. Guest 1sweet3.4
I heard from one of the Sport compact magazines that they dumped the 4g63 for an all aluminum block Mivec equipped mill. Any truth to this? if so Do you guys think it a mistake? It'd be kinda hard to push the boost that the older evos have and would be a more delicate motor as i understand. I wouldn't be that suprised if it were true. Mitsu, Chrysler, and Hyundai developed the new line of 4 cylinder "world engines" together and will be sharing them. They come in 1.8, 2.0 and 2.4 liter displacements and are already released in the Dodge Caliber (which shares a Lancer platform). The 2.4L Caliber SRT-4 is making 300 hp, so it wouldn't be a bad ting if Mitsu tried to save some more money by using it.

6 Speed S4
I read someplace that they are all semi manual with the paddle shifters which I wouldn't want to have. I prefer MT.

Dr. Apex
Seems to me an aluminum block would be the way to go, they seem to be well made enough today that it could hold lots of boost, but only time will tell. I keep hearing that's pretty much how the car will look which would be sweet, it looks great.
Mallard
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/world-engine.html Read that link for what will probably be in the next EVO. All aluminum and built for boost.
