flounder Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 Well, I can say that once that guy and I were in the golf cart escorting me to my bike that he was actually a decent guy. In his defense he got called into a situation he didnt know anything about other then what that woman had told him which obviously she didnt know anything she was talking about. He agreed with me on the way to the bikes that I was right and that the woman was wrong and just pissed off but he still had to do his job. That woman was all pissed off because she told some guy to quit filming and he started giving her shit. So when she walked to me and screamed HIPAA in my face, she was already pissed off. The red flags were making the race a little slow... but always good to see.BTW, I don't know if anyone else saw the guy with the new Desmo with temp tags still on?? We walked up to the Ducati tent right as he was about to leave. Bike looked very small and compact, IMO. I think we saw some of the Ohio-Rider girls on a golfcart Sunday, I can't be sure though. Never the less, it was a fun time at the races. I'll post pics later. Do you even know what was on the $30k RC8? Hand laid carbon bodywork from Akropovic isn't as cheap as Hot Bodies... The exhaust is something that is also hand made.I guess you think a 1098S isn't worth the money either?For stock machines, these bikes have a lot going for them. Sure, I also somewhat agree as I sit back and look at things similarly in that a GSXR1000 at $11k can be made into a Hell burner for another $8k. Top shelf of the shit pile aisle!I'll attest to the HB shit... My 2 sets require a ton of dremel work to make them somewhat fit, and even then they still look terrible. A buddy of mine said the new E-Racing cheap stuff is several times better then Hot Bodies. If I hadn't got the one set with the bike and another set for only $250 I would not have bought HB and will never buy it again.
