Good morning, Captain Vague. I can only assume that at 3:18 am this morning you were finishing your to do list and joining CR was the last thing on it. I understand the exhaustive process of registering on this site. That must be the reason for your lack of effort in your first post. All this taken into consideration, I ask you take opportunity to recover from this weak introduction. Don't be shy.

"Basic trans" to me means you ride a horse. If you are sporting a horse and buggy, I applaud your uniqueness. I don't think we have any Amish members, so the more diversity the better. Please explain true horse power.

Welcome.

I already love you guys

I come from the shithole in the earth. Cincinnati. I was working at a doggie daycare till i stood up for myself and told the boss to fuck off. I am 29 and relocatting to Cbus. So far i really like it here. I grew up in a garage with my dad. I used to work on all kinds of stuff with him. then i became ill and i hadnt been around a garage for a long time. i met my ex friend and he jump started that passion again. come to find out he was a complete asshole and i said fuck all that. but i still have that passion. i love the way a garage smells and love the track. i got to ride in a 57 chevy bel air drag car for the first time and it was the most amazing experience. I am no car guru but i love it and i like to learn about it.

I drive an 98 ford escort. complete stock 5 speed. i love my car as crappy as it may be. I really like neons and other assorted fast cars that i cant afford right now. do to my illness i am limited on what kind of work that i can do to my car but i like to tinker.

sorry about the vague intro. i hope this helps.

Straps,

You sound like a person who has encountered many challenges. There is a lot to be learned from this site and some of the best people you may ever meet are on here. We are understanding to people’s limited exposure to the automotive world. There are people on here who don't know shit about car’s (I might be one of them), but they don't run around saying they do so it works out. Just make it out on a weekend and introduce yourself without squealing your tires and you should be fine. Again, welcome.

Damn I love this. I'm the resident asshole, but hardly have to do any work anymore. Instead, I have my assistants running the show. I'll make a great manager some day.

Oh, and welcome.

LOL - if you think I'm an assistant to you in anything, then you're suffering from either delusions of grandiosity or mental retardation.

Eh, maybe a little bit of both mixed with some Gentleman Jack.

I bet that was empowering. I'm going to go into Burger King tomorrow and smack my boss in the face with a dildo as I'm quitting. Thank you for inspiring me. Fuck the flame broiled whopper, I'm free bitches!!!

Not to sound dicriminating, but as a lot of us on here will make derogatory references to just about anything we can. As to avoid any future/unforeseen embarrassment on our part, what illness did you fall to? If you don't mind me asking.

i think that is the most polite way of asking that anyone has ever done. for that i thank you

I have Systemic Rhuematoid Arthritis. Meaning I have it in every joint and organ besides my hips and knees because they are fake. instead of getting my DL's at 16 I got new hips and had to learn to walk again. both knees are now done as well. i have had a lot of complications with it but i finally got off all my meds and survive with a very high tolerance for pain and a little help from ibprofen. i use other methods as well but as of right now i dont so i can get a job. i have been prnounced dead before and brought back with human jumper cables. I am 29 years old, feel 80 and look 16. I am, living life the best I can and so far its been nuts but im still here and im going to run with it.

again thanks for being polite about it. You will find that i refer to myself as a cripple often. if you cant laugh at a bad situation then its just gonna suck even more.
