Yes thank you to all that gave some, and the some that gave all. It is a very important day for me and my family, and tuesday will be even more important as I will finally head off to basic training and AIT for five months.

Just remember you will be walking a path layed before you with the boot heals and blood of thousands of patriots just like you. The military has a way of showing you how much you love your country. Thanks for answering the call, remember each drop of sweat and each tear make you stronger in conviction, mind and body. Your DIs (or CCs or whatever) are only trying to make it so they would be comfortable with you in their fox hole. Listen to what they say, put 100% effort into everything and you will be fine.

Just remember Memorial Day isn't Veterans Day. Memorial Day is to remember those that have died in service to the country they love.
