Well, even if it's a 14-15sec 1st gen tibbi, that's a vast improvement over the stocker. If it wasn't for the big exhaust (gives up the sleeper look a bit) it'd at least suprise alot of ricers and not too heavily modded civics, etc.

I thought I would chime in here since I am the owner of the car. The pictures Evan originally posted were from when the car came back to Pittsburgh from Niles, Ohio. Since then, I have odne alot to get it running. Here are the most updated pictures of what it looks like. It may not be a quick car, but it's something I call my own and am proud to drive.

yeah...not claiming this car will decimate all, but, its not some civic or a mustang...its something you wont see every day...probably wont see too many turbo tiburons every month for that matter.

more boost will be soon im sure. he has a spare motor at his shop now that he plans on building this winter, pauter rods, wiseco pistons, ferrea valves, springs, same cams as now. hopefully next year he'll have it up to 18+ psi

ive been bugging him to get it dyno'd as well. i guess theres a shop around here that is having a dyno day soon where he can get 3 pulls for like 40$.

on his 2000 elantra, when he had it boosted w/ a t25, at 13psi, he hit 225 to the wheels on a mustang dyno. i would hope hes a bit higher with this set up

and yes, the exhaust would probably fit a baby in it, and its the first thing i gave him shit about when i got here
