Dr. Apex
I saw one of those once that was twin engined and put out a combined 600hp, it was pretty damn sweet for a tiburon.

SPLN SUX
well it makes 130/140hp stock... so even with a 80hp jump from a turbo, its still less than that of a stock WRX...
TurboRust
that last pull wasnt 200 hp by any means, sorry evan not trying to bash it just looks SSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW.
Dave1647545494
derek talks alot of shit for a mostly stock mach 1 with a busted control arm race him from a dig if it goes 60' on slicks without spitting out anymore parts I'll buy you a steak
TurboRust
bitch, call me, i'll bolt the slicks on right now and kill you at midnight, seems with a fucked control arm bushing i still out 60' your ass at norwalk with the same rear suspension setup, blow my nutz
ImUrOBGYN
Well, even if it's a 14-15sec 1st gen tibbi, that's a vast improvement over the stocker. If it wasn't for the big exhaust (gives up the sleeper look a bit) it'd at least suprise alot of ricers and not too heavily modded civics, etc.
Dave1647545494
nope then I'll have to weld your torque box back in when I replace the control arm you already busted how about prelude vs grand voyager for lunch money?
TurboRust
oh noes,, no dig 20 roll, i'm using my sport shift on the auto, bitch lol and dont act like you're always putting in my shit for free it comes off your tab. not that I couldnt do it myself anyways
yamaha
I thought I would chime in here since I am the owner of the car. The pictures Evan originally posted were from when the car came back to Pittsburgh from Niles, Ohio. Since then, I have odne alot to get it running. Here are the most updated pictures of what it looks like. It may not be a quick car, but it's something I call my own and am proud to drive. http://66.93.172.84/sean/RD%20Project/DSCN1650.JPG http://66.93.172.84/sean/Allentown%202007/DSCN1656.JPG
Guest 5.7
My S/C Cobalt was faster than that..
kirks5oh
harsh in here. the car is not my taste/style, but i can appreciate someone who takes pride in their car, especially if they do all/most of the work on the car themselves
evan9381
yeah...not claiming this car will decimate all, but, its not some civic or a mustang...its something you wont see every day...probably wont see too many turbo tiburons every month for that matter. more boost will be soon im sure. he has a spare motor at his shop now that he plans on building this winter, pauter rods, wiseco pistons, ferrea valves, springs, same cams as now. hopefully next year he'll have it up to 18+ psi ive been bugging him to get it dyno'd as well. i guess theres a shop around here that is having a dyno day soon where he can get 3 pulls for like 40$. on his 2000 elantra, when he had it boosted w/ a t25, at 13psi, he hit 225 to the wheels on a mustang dyno. i would hope hes a bit higher with this set up and yes, the exhaust would probably fit a baby in it, and its the first thing i gave him shit about when i got here
Mr. Jones
It has the civic esq ricer body kit, wing, ect ect. ect. RICE
Nitrousbird
- Ricey Wing - Crooked Fart Can - Fairly ricey GFX Kit - Unpainted CF hood (that can and SHOULD be painted) - Hood Pins I wouldn't be too proud of that.
