1998 Jeep cherokee wheels off track?

Car pulls to the right very sharply if you left off the wheel.

I put it in 4wheel drive yesterday and didn't really get on it to much. But as soon as I put it back into 2wd when I make a left turn it seems as if I'm running over something or its rubbing against something.

Will a simple alignment correct this problem! I need HELP!

never let go of the wheel.....

if you hold the wheel straight on a flat road does the jeep go straight or does it pull?

also did you remember to back up some after putting it back into 2wd?

we can check the alignment at NTB, but if it wasn't pulling before going into 4wd and you didn't hit anything it shouldn't be pulling now

Check the trackbar. It runs from a bracket on the subframe near the steering box (drivers side) over to a mount on the passengers side of the axle. It's basically like a panhard bar, but in the front. The stock ones are notorious for being fragile with alot of miles and/or hard use. There's a TRE at the frame bracket end that is easy to bust.

Also, as mentioned above it could be ball-joint related. Either should be easy to tell with a visual inspection.
