TURBOED Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 I guess I'll introduce myself... General History: My name is Jerry. I grew up in Hamilton (just north of cincy). I graduated from Purdue last December, and moved here (henderson rd exit off of 315 area) in March to start my new job. I am now a mechanical design engineer for a supplier to Honda (I design combi-meters, aka, gauge clusters). Automotive Background: I had a 1G fwd talon from high school up until about 6 months ago. Had all the bolt ons, big16g, etc etc. While owning that, I had two crx's and a jeep as daily drivers. I sold the talon just before moving here in order to get something a little more practical (since I couldn't keep it in my parent's garage anymore ). I now drive a 2004.5 Jetta GLI. Needless to say the drag strip does not exactly call my name anymore, but I started autoxing this summer with OVR, and have gotten pretty hooked. I also had a 1998 Yamaha FZR600, and currently ride a 2000 R6. Here are lots of pics... TURBOED Posted August 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 The talon was my baby, no doubt about that. Had it for 7ish years and only put about 25k miles on it. Paint and interior were almost 100% perfect. Believe it or not, it didn't break once in the 7 years I owned it. I was definitely sad to see it go. My first crx (not pictured) was a piece... that yellow one was ridiculously clean though. 120k miles and almost completely stock. I miss that car a lot too... if only it wasn't yellow.
