the whole car for 1k, maaco? i dont believe they dont remove anything off the panels but other than that your looking around 3k and up. it just depends all what all quality you are looking for. did you want the jams done or if you wanted stuff taken off the panels( ie door handles, belt moldings, body side, etc) thats where the price goes up

if you only soend 1k on a black paint paint job your going to be 1k poorer and very unhappy spend the extra money and get it done right black is pretty tough to spray and the body under it has to be perfect or you see every mistake

You are going to have a hard time to get a car painted for around 1K. The paint and supplies cost near 1K.

These guys are smart!

Thanks a lot Matt. Like I said it was nice doing business with you. And I look forward to hearing from your Dad.

Matt's car was a pretty simple fix. Hit in the front, the car needed a hood, both headlights, header panel, grill, front cover, rebar, and absorber. Matt decided to upgrade the front end to a cobra front. So we upgraded the cover, and the hood to 2004 parts.

While the car was in the shop Matt decided to take care of some other areas on the car. So we resprayed the passenger quarter, and the rear cover.

After the paint was finished the whole car was meticulously detailed. The reason this is done is because not matter how well paint is kept, the difference between fresh black paint and older black is night and day.

Here are some in shop pictures of the car. I will get the out doors up as soon as I return to the shop tomorrow.

This is the reason we did not repair the hood.
