I love my DirecTV service. I really do. However, my family is desperately trying to cut our spending in some areas to make up for others.

Is there someone on this forum for WOW or Time Warner than can get us a sweet deal on internet, phone/digital phone, and TV?

+1 For WOW.

Had it since I moved to reynoldsburg and I can honestly say I am FAR happier than when I had RR. They customer service is outstanding and they readily credit you for any outage/ inconvenience. They really seem to value you as a customer and will do just about anything to keep your business as far as dealing goes.

Generally if you call Time Warner sales they can get you a good intro package with digital cable/roadrunner/digital phone for like 99.99 for the first year or so. . . . I'd definitely call them and consider it. I have TW. . . and while I can't praise them completely. . . I've had pretty stable service for the past couple of years.

Joe/Nitrousbird hooked me up months ago and it's great. We have HD/Digital on three TV's with a couple DVR boxes and digital phone with upgraded 6 mbit Internet....although I never maxed out the previous 4 mbit downloads. ZERO issues, love the HD content and overall, we're saving well over $65mo. vs using TW and AT&T seperately as we were for years. That right there is making up for the extra in gas due to oil prices

Time Warners standard road runner is 7mbit vs there 6mb. We also have free news groups even if capped at 4 threads vs there 5 gig limited news groups.

Personaly I vote TW.

How's that Big Ten Network working out for ya? ;) Or the NFL Channel? TW = 13HD, WOW = 27HD.

TW may have 7Mbps down, but WOW offers 1Mbps up vs. TW's 512k, which IMO is far more important. Warner does win with Newsgroups, though.
