HAOLE
Hyundai has come along away since the scoupe. I have had a couple Sonatas as rental cars and they seem very nice.
Earl1647545488
I bought an Accent in 2001 to have as a beater, it has never broken down on me, and now with gas prices as they are, it has become a godsend.
evan9381
hyundai isnt using mitsu engines, hyundai, mitsu, chrysler are all using the "world engine". i believe its in the caliber as well

Doug1647545489
Hyundai is doing what the japanese companies did in the mid-90s. The Genesis looked nice.
TTQ B4U
I'm seriously going to look at one. I never ever in a million years thought I'd buy one, but the Hyundai van we have now put the Oddy to a $9,600 delta shame that I just couldn't see or feel. It's 100% on par with the best out there and I'm a believer now. http://www.pbase.com/pdqgp/image/89751983/medium
Dr. Apex
hyundai isnt using mitsu engines, hyundai, mitsu, chrysler are all using the "world engine". i believe its in the caliber as well Hyundai uses several of Mitsu's engines, have been for years. Mitsu shares the world motor 2.4l 4 cyl from Chrysler and thus with Hyundai. My guess would be the V8 is a Chrysler engine as Mitsu doesn't have anything in the U.S. that uses a V8(except the Raider truck that's a rebadged Dakota). I think it's a good looking car and it's the platform the next Tiburon is being built on.

evan9381
hyundai hasnt used a mitsu engine for years. the last hyundai made that used a mitsu motor was the ~95 elantra, which is why it was a good candidate for a 4g63 swap. everything since is 100% hyundai
RedRocket1647545505
They need to get busy making this thing: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2007/11/15/automobiles/autoshow/600-hyundai.jpg I'd seriously consider rocking one of these. Nitrousbird
Ummm, yeah, you can fancy advertise and throw a bunch of numbers up, and I'm still haven't been convinced to even look at a Korean car. Korean != Japanese.

1quikta
Badass looking ride. Reminds me of that newer Lexus (** 450?). What is the price tag?
spankis
AGAIN, that pic is NOT what it looks like. It's dramatically toned down for production. Also, it will suffer from SRT-4 syndrome....."it's still a neon (hyundai)". It's annoying to see how the damn super bowl commercial actually created buzz for the car, on basically every forum i frequent .
