Stampede
I'm starting to look for a lift, who and where to buy from? Needs to be able to lift 5500 lbs. Thanks.
kirks5oh
i would buy one that can double the intended weight you need to lift. i'm also looking at 2 and 4 post lifts for my future garage (would like to have one of each), and most lifts specify at least 7000 lbs capacity. there are plenty of lift experts here who will speak up soon
osusantacruz
i think i saw on slowmotion's forum that someone knows of a dealer or shop that is closing and will be selling 10-15 lifts in the very near future
FourString
I work for Advance Auto Parts and I know that we can order them. Go to any Advance and talk to the commercial sales guy. They have a book you can look through of all different kinds of lifts. If you can get in contact with the District Commercial Manager, he/she can come down on price even. Just a thought. LPFSTheFett
I have a lift I'm selling, which I'm pretty sure is already spoken for. My question is, is there a company that can be contacted to take it down, move it to it's new location and put it back up?
RS69
I bought my lifts used. I had a connection on the east coast informed me about them and then I bought all 8 of them. There are good deals out there, you just got to look and be ready to buy when the deal approaches. The lifts I purchased were 2 post Benwils and Challenger lifts. I kept one of the Challengers for myself and my brother and dad each have a Benwil. My brother also purchased a new 4 post lift and its alright. He bought it a few years ago and it was around $2000. Stampede
What would be a decent price for a used one? Thanks.
LPFSTheFett
I think it depends on what brand/style it is. Like my lift was $2400 new and I want $1000 for it and it's only a couple years old. It's your standard 4 post drive on lift. So like RS69 said, there are deals out there on them, just have to find them.
FourString
Wow thats a hell of a price. If I had enough clearance in my garage, you could consider that sold. My ceilings are 10ft.

Gergwheel1647545492
he is talking about a lift to lift a vechile into the air to work underneath it. Not to lift a vechile so its ride height is taller
