QA1 K-members suck

I found out that QA1 sucks last year when I put this K on the car. I was unable to get it aligned because there wasn't enough adjustment left to compensate for the out-of-whack k-member.

 

Today I ended up widening two of the holes (pictured below) just to see if I can get it somewhat right. It took about 1/4" of widening between the top two holes. The lower holes (also pictured below) I did not attempt to widen today, I'll do that on the car. I'm hoping with these slight modifications that I will have the adjustment in the k to get it aligned properly.

 

To top it all off (this may need moved to consumer reports?) their service sucks. I called them last year and explained my problems with the product. To make a long story short, they said I was SOL because I had notched part of it for the turbo kit I was going to run. That notch has absolutely nothing to do with the fit of the k, it just provides clearance for the manifold.

i run a team z kmember no problems from it yet, used to run a Qa1 but threw it in the dumpser after it bent from 3 passes.

Unfortunately, I am now forced to. I sent them an email telling some of my measurements with these pictures. I'm just really disappointed that this is the kind of product that is put out.

PA Racing is what I am using. Mine is for a drag setup, but it seems fine to me.

most internet opinions says PA stuff sucks. But yeah the road race crew can't seem to find one they like over the stocker, and I don't want to drop 550 on a k member that will break. UMI has a new "road race" version of theirs but I don't think enough people have ran them for me to buy it yet

I'm a beginner welder, my welds look about like those on the k-member.
