GonneVille
Couldn't use the slicks, turns out the GTP crosslaces they're on rub on the calipers...but I still managed to beat my previous best by 0.4 on street tires. 14.353 @ 95.95 And at that, I still can't manage to truly get this thing to launch right. I got a damn good launch, but didn't roll into the throttle hard enough when the tires hooked, and the motor bogged slightly. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/GonneVille/0417082335.jpg
2 Sweet
Yeah, the crosslaces won't fit on cars w/ 12'' or bigger front brakes. Good time for a Park Avenue on street tires
GonneVille
It's a really close fit...the wheels fit OVER the brakes just fine, with about 1/2" between the rim and caliper. It scrapes at the rim face, though, just barely. I think the GP torquestars would fit, though, so if someone out there has a pair for less than $50, let me know... BTW, those are DAMN good times when you consider that my tires are two profile sizes taller than stock OD...
