got a new beater

picked it up for $800... 175k miles, 4x4, 5spd, gutted interior, replaced soft top with a removable hard top...i like it so far...a lot different than driving the stang because the clutch is so light and the stang is VERY stiff....will be nice for cruising...wing windows, sunroof, and removable top....the radio works but no display and its a tape player...so i think that and maybe different floor mat s will be the only upgrades

havent had a chance to clean it yet, mud everywhere lol it has definately seen some mudholes

 

 

anyone know anything about these? 1990 isuzu amigo...problems i should know about, certain things to watch out for etc etc?

oh and also...the entire engine is covered with dirt and mud.... best way to clean it off? it kinda smells bad when it gets hot....degreaser and a very light hose down?....sorry if this is the wrong section, it says anything car related...and im a noob lol

My buddy's girlfriend had one that went through 2 motors, both with overheating issues. I was asked to look at them each time and found oil in the coolant, then backed away slowly....

 

She sold it a few months ago ( but it wasn't white ).

lol well i hope this thing doesnt blow up....it shakes when it idles, but when its driving its smooth and theres no misfires or anything like that...and it doesnt smoke at all
