SpaceGhost
I was thinking of renting one for fun, but if it is de-tuned and you can't turn traction control off forget it, hell they might as well just put in a V6.....

Benner
Don't know where you read it but you can turn the traction control off and set it to sport suspension and it doesn't feel detuned at all. How do I know you ask??? Muwahahaha!!!
gaewsky1
I didn't think these were available locally. If they are which Hertz are you with?
Benner
I work for Byers Dublin Chevy. We just got them in for Hertz. As far as I know they're not available yet, but will be to anyone who's willing to pay the price for them.
stealthmonkey
yes I have plenty of Hertz points from company rentals. I would be willing to go for it. and yes i plan on doing either a road course or auto cross with it. So defantly extra insurance,.
hpfiend
with the actual amount of good weather we get around here it would be cheaper to rent! I am interested.
ohioko4s4
I rented one out in CA last month. It took me a few minutes to rig the trac control off, but once done, I beat the living shit out of it. Hertz uses aftermarket clips underneath the button that you need to remove. Most fun I've had in a rental since the Hertz Shelby Mustang that I did the same thing with last year....there was so much rubber up the quarter panels that I needed to buy bug remover and a towel to clean it off....
