Guest 614Streets
:( 1996 stock elantra , I heart hyundai engineers. Lets count the strikes (humble me) 1. Compressor fails at the exact time 1 wheel stud snaps while removing lug nut. 2. Enough air in tank to remove hub castle nut , but ironically the nut takes threads with it ftw. 3. Customer is waiting on car , I decide its not worth the complete hassle to press out hub bearing to replace the lovely rotors. F-in sweet, you'll have that. Ahh I love it. From this day on no Hyundai allowed in my shop. Ever.

Guest 614Streets
I fixed the axle and 1 lug threads with my snap off thread files but it took some elbow grease. Reasembled/sprayed his junk with brake clean and him and gave him recommendations to another shop. Did not charge him. Although he is interested in paying for other repairs I just wont do hyundai anymore , the metals are just too cheap. With customer waiting on car and the price I qouted to him , it was hella not worth me going all the way and pressing the bearings out , I don't have a set of hub sharks and I know the car would have had to stay overnight to make a jig to hold the spindle in my press or some fiaso using a jaw puller.
