mrs.cos
Ok, so my best friend moved to new york. She had her mom ship her the title, had it notorized to her mom and sent it back so her mom could sell it. So her mom went to the DMV and found out a another title has been issued and they needed to find that one. Well neither of them has it, so somehow she needs ANOTHER copy of the title. The problem is this, She is on NYC, you have to apply for new titles in person. What does she do?? Coming back to ohio is not an option
wnaplay1647545503
She had an Ohio title notarized in NY? If the mother has the notarized title then I be very blunt at the BMV and make sure they understand it.
ODoyle
I think you can get and affidavit(sp?) that makes the mother able to apply for title and tags and anything of that nature..Its kind of like a power of attorney
Mensan
Or just issue a power of attorney.

wnaplay1647545503
My wife forges my name on POA's all the time. Nobody ever checks. Just have her mom write one up and sign her name.
