Science Abuse
I can get one new, cheap. Are they total crap, harbor-freight-level crap, or are they OK?
Archie
Harbor-freight has never failed me, regardless of all the slanderous reviews...
Science Abuse
nor I, but I fully expect them to. Being in the industry I'm in, I can tell you that they sell very cheap stuff. So cheap that most returned goods go right in the trash, it's not cost effective for the to proccess them, not to even inspect them. Of course, there's something to be said for simplicity. smokin5s
I have a shop force mitre saw and it's great, has a laser on it to know where I'm going to make my cuts, and has done great... would highly recommend at least their mitre saw lineup. Science Abuse
just bought it over lunch, will report once I'm home and can fire it up. I was hesitant at first because I didn't think i had much need for an air compressor..... then I realized that I don't need one much because I don't have one, and I've just been working around that. Now that I have one, I can has projects with it.
Guest Hal
Most Harbor Freight pneumatic stuff is made by Chicago Pneumatic. Who makes your Mac, Snap-on, Cornwell, etc... air tools and compressors? A ton are made by CP.
Science Abuse
Yes yes, made in the vilage of Chi Kago, Guangdong Province PRC. (CP does ALOT of work in China. )

Guest Hal
I see you decided not to get CP. Good choice in the compressor, I'd like one of those.
