Nice car GEARHEAD. But that car ain't gonna weigh 3400 when you are finished.

Here is my last car and it only weighed 2650 with a big block. c4,9", 460ci, 12pt cage, 10.5's not tubbed

16 point plus on my cage, all glass, power windows, all steel, thru the floor connectors, 9" with a pro iron center and a c-6.

mines mini tubbed, plus i added a ton of extra bars, the c-6 is way heavyer. iron heads etc etc.. my body weigh's way more then it used to before i started cutting it up.

what all weight reduction was done on that car....

mines not striped to that level and thats only a 10 point in that car.

i was thinking of cutting everything out in front of the towers, but then my engine bay just would not look right..

Oh well, that car is gone. 11.20@120mph was a good bracket car and won me some money here and there. But I wanted something for the street too. So I sold it and bought this.

I bought it new on ebay from a dealer in holly, mi in June 2007

with 300 miles on the car i Put a Pully, cai, tune. with 800 miles I put a 3" bassani exhaust. on stock manifolds. No cats, w/ race mufflers.

other mods:

Detroit TruTrac limited slip (destroyed stock one)

4.10 gears

Axle girdle

Mickey Thompson DR 305/45-18

UCA/LCAs (blew the poly bushing out on the steeda UCA, now have a Grantelli/BMR)

Here is a video from earlier this year(may 4th 2008 @ trails). not sure what it ran but the lauch wasn't that good. I was still playing with the launch. more than 3500 and it just blows the tires off less than 3000 and it bogs.

enjoy

Welcome, nice car! Earlier in the summer I was driving behind you in West Jeff, and your car sounds good as hell. I live just down the road from there, off Hubbard Rd

Thanks, I don't really know what it sounds like, videos just don't do it. I tried to make video of the exhaust. I had my 10 yr old daughter record it, when I rev the exhaust she jumps. LOL Kinda scared her.

But you all know what I mean by not really knowing what it sounds like, It sounds good in the car with the windows down.

here you go I just uploaded this clip. It was takin on DEC 22, 2007

Ill take that race

lol. I bet you would. 10.18@135mph. Hey your car leave the line nice. 1.48 with both wheels up. looks great.

here are the rules for you. We take it from a 100mph role to 175mph and you still need to bring your race weight up to 4155lbs with driver.

Hoping you are out of gear and I just drive around you ;)

You keep working on an even sillier race than that, because you will loose that one also.

1.48?

how about this 1.34 60'

Ray, that car is bad ass! I seen a green one on here that is pretty sweet as well. low 10's

I don't see me putting a cage in my car anytime soon so my cut off is 11.50. So I am basically tapped out. I could put on 160mm throttle body, lower 4lb pully and a bigger heat exchanger, with a new tune and would me making 620-630rwhp @ 16lbs. it would only cost me about 2000-2500 for the mods list above. Hell I am already breaking shit. lol

As for right now I am just going to be happy with my slow 11sec car. :D

11 sec street cars are bad assed. My car weighs 3980 with my 250# in it so the 4155# was a skinny passenger in the front seat for me. My car is still a full weight air conditioned car.

Im not much for white cars but that looks bad assed with the stripes.

Put the wolfe 5 point in with a swing out arm. Its not bad and people really look at you funny at the grocery store when you swing that bar out.

You coming to the track rental saturday? There is no tech to speak of at 42
