does anyone know of a place to recertify a nitrous bottle?

cousin got one for next dirt cheap i guess and was curious as to where it can recertified......

 

i thought could fine help on here faster than calling around.....

 

i called 3 places all pointed me to other places that '' could do it'' but ended up none of them can....

 

 

any help is appreciated

There's a place off of Route 3 about 1/2 mile south of Shottensteins that specializes in fire equipment that re-certified my bottle. This was back about 8 years though and I can't remember their name for the life of me.

There is a sub-aquatics place off east broad that does it. The guy at jegs said it was about $30 or something like that.

yea called up jegs an got the number for ohio fire and safety..... guess only thing you have to do is pull valve out and your good to go.......

 

does anyone kno if once they test it they sticker it or something so jegs will fill it?

they stamp it..no sticker..and they will need it for a day! they dont just pull the valve... they double pressure the bottle and put it under water over night!
