2highpsi
Concern that not even he believed the bullshit spewing out of his mouth tonight. Imagine knowing that you are reading blatant lies to millions of people on live television.
hot_wire
trbo, so true. He can't be as dumb as late night comedy makes him out to be. Surely the president can see through his own lies and realize that we are, indeed fucked.
power-addict
The question is how bad will it get before we are able to recover?
Aaron
I am suprised it took this long to get on here. I was wondering the same thing.......if he believed any of what he said. I just hope it doesn't totally backfire. Time will tell.
Science Abuse
The question is how bad will it get before we are able to recover? History shows that things generally have to hit rock-bottom before the people are motivated to change them. Economic rock-bottom event tend to bring about socialist revolutions, as opposed to security based revolutions that bring about fascism. xTHExBOSSx46
i heard a big problem was from the loans that were given out on a 0 down payment loan to get people into homes. this meant that they had no money in the invest ment and when it went under the people giving the loans were fucked. im not going to mention who the sets of people were but if you heard the reports or listen to 610am at all you know who it is. basically they bailed out of their loans and were at lose for 0 dollars cause they didnt have any money in the investment and the people who did were the people giving the loans. if any one paid attention ealier the person who pushed the bill to be passed making all that possible to get all these bottom feeders and welfare abusers into homes was obamas vp. so i hear. and all the republicans backed it and so did the democrats. and now the gov't wants to buy out those loans and pay it back to the banks by way of our own tax money. what bull shit. what is our country turning into with these people currently running it and the people getting ready to. no matter which candidate wins we are all in for some trouble trying to get back on top. Brandon
I enjoy reading all the paranoid responses on this forum... OMG its storming outside, ARMAGEDON ! Honestly if you believe you can only blame president Bush for this current banking crisis, please do me a favor and with hold your vote from the election, because you clearly have no understanding on how this issue needs addressed, and changed. Congress is the issue, big banks with power lobbying, donating to our wonderful two presidental hopefuls. Congress is the concern, with their seemingly limitless terms, partisan voting, back water agreements, no regulations, no finance reforms. So choose your congressman more carefully next time, they installed this mess we are in. President Bush is mearly a scape goat for a democratic offensive, and a GOP rebellion for innocence in public eyes. Ole Obama an Mcain are just jems of men... But I will say if you believe Obama will get out his magic carpet and fly us into economic bliss, it will end in a bad dream. My .02 cents are please do your self a solid. If this issue is truly important to your do the research and investigate both congressmen's policies on the economy, for me their is a clear cut winner, because socialism is not the way, middle class or not. As for the bailout option, I believe the wisdom of Alan Greenspan, if he supports the idea, in the end it will work. He is the reason our country was so successful for the last decade and a half! 1
V8 Beast
I blame Dominion Homes.. bastards!!!!! All this debt for a shitty house that I couldnt sell if my life depended on it! My starter home happened at the worse time evarrrrrrrrr! Also, there is no set demographic for home owners that cant afford to pay their bills. People of all types of life bit off more than they can chew causing this. Its not the welfare people causing the issues, its the everyday working men and woman that got sucked into ballon mortgages and are now unable to afford their homes. The VA tried to suck us all into the web of home mortgages a few years back. I believe it was something like a 3% fixed, and up to $350K+. I would like to see a demographic for those that are losing their homes to foreclosure. I have a feeling it is a huge # of middle to, upper middle class. I agree with alot of that. My question to all the bush blamers is, how do you blame bush for , oh lets take for instance the Indian scheme on the housing market? You know the one where a man with a wife and child would apply for a loan on a house that cost $115,000 , but would get the bank to agree to a combined home improvement loan of $60,000 , a total loan of $175,000. Then the home Improvement money was pulled out of account , moved, or spent, blackmarket invested, and hobibi and dot head with sandface would move back to country of origin and the home would go into forclosure, and guess what , no home improvement money spent on the house itself! It happened. Alot.

Clifford Automotive
Years ago the housing market that took place with all of these wonderful rates is part of the problem we have today. When Amy gets on Im sure she can explain it in full detail since her family owned a title agency.
