flounder Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 I believe allot of this work came from one of the projects where the goal was to create something for cleaning up oil spills. The result was that they created bacteria that would eat the crude oil as food and during the digestive process, the resultant feces became a non pollutant.
