ANYthing that was hurt badly enough to put a hole through a block and put a hole through a head is not worth nearly as much as a non-repaired engine to me; I am sure some people would pay that much. Big difference between rebuilt and repaired. And, for the record it was 7500 with shipping, so probably 7000 picked up (he can answer for himself what it sold for w/o shipping). AJ Posted November 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 the hole in the block is the size of a pen. its not in the water jacket and didn't affect anything other than the looks of it. it was caused by the connecting rod cap bolt. Thats exactly what I want to do. I am interested in this but the only thing still holding me back is the block aswell. I don't know, just something about it being repaired. I don't know, just something about it being repaired. its not fixed yet if you want to see it. if people are so worried about a hole in the block then i could just rebuild it and put it in my car and spin it up to 7500 like my orginal plan was. i have no problem with this engine at all as the hole is no where near any water jacket or oil galley.
