We put our Yorkie on one every other day in the winter for 20-30 minutes. He's to the point now where even when we get on the treadmill for ourselves he'll jump on and want to join in.

 

It's a great way to get the energy out on the cold days. Don't know what we'd do without having it around.

I used to do this with Titan when I lived in Vegas. People used to ask me if he was on any steroids, etc. I've actually been kinda on the lookout for another treadmill.

 

May I suggest getting him a harness? It's much more suited for this (until he starts doing it on his own) and for walking/control. Especially, a big dog.

LOL so u basically chained him up to the treadmill and if he stopped he'd choke himself out. original name btw ryan. lol just messin

negative, we watched him if he completely stopped i picked him up before it choked him out.

its a process, and i for sure would never hurt my dogs
