I saw you today at Morse and Hamilton... Car looks good...

Thanks man! I realized today driving the car how much i hate the clutch that's in it.

haha i had the same issue on my car also except with the PS line, they guy sent really thin crush washers and they were a little big and they just stretched causing the fluid to leak.

BTW the VW sounded good Friday night when you had it out.

to get the sub frame in the far what i did was put a transmission jack on the middle on the diff, and then put two regular jack by the arms and lifted it up. transmission jack in the middle was just to stabilize it because with the other 2 jacks on both side it could still move forward and back.

thats the transmission jack i used.

So i finally got around to doing some things ive been wanting to do.

I finally got matt to sell me his catch can so i installed that, put in a new PCV because my old one was well old. and i finally got my boost gauge working again. turned out my line for the boost gauge was kinked and cracked. No wonder it felt like the car had a boost leak! cause it did!!!

Jason what ever happened with you coming to test drive it?

btw i forgot to add i also ordered Super Now Supper Cutters, they are inner tie rod spacers along with outter tie rods, they should give me about 50 degree of turning angle both ways.

Supernow makes great Stuff! I would still love to come test drive the car, I ended up going down to S Tenn to buy another 240 coupe:). I still will be getting a Sc300 just not anytime soon. I finally found a 93 white slick top non power coupe, ive been looking for one for a long long time and one came up and next thing you know I was down south getting it. This is the last 240 I am going to ever buy . It is going to be built for an all around car/ my fun car. I am waiting till a member on here finds out he can get parts for me then its on. One thing that I decided not to get a sc300 for my play toy is the weight.

So i havent really been talking much today because of issues with this car. it was supposed to be getting tuned today and instead i get a call back from Slowmotion saying cylinder number 1 is not firing at all sweet right? i go to the shop and fuck around with it for a bit and still nothing. pull off the plug from the connector and it still not firing, pull off the injector still not firing. check all the wiring its all fine. great just what i need right? well looking back at the coil plugs and swap other ones around and still not firing at all. next thing you know the coil plug is so briddle it cracks down the middle. SWEET!

so we figure out its a great idea to swap out fuel injectors, start pulling off the rail then it gets stuck because no room between the intake manifold and the fuel rail to get it off. we pull off the complete intake manifold and by that time i was just tired of looking at the car. so heres the new plans,

JDM MKIV supra 440cc injectors

new orings

new coil pack connectors

intake manifold spacer

AEM IAT sensor(tapped into the manifold)

and hopefully the car will run right after!

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/IMG00002-20090827-1812.jpg

if it still doesent run right after this its time for a compression check and leak down. id rather not get to this point as ill be too pissed off if the engine died on me.
