My Chute is detachable and currently detached for street driving, but I will get some pics with it on soon. There may be videos up soon of the passes made this weekend. They were only license passes so nothing to get too excited about, but video none the less. As for the cage, it isn't really a bolt in or weld in as you would think. It is probably closer to being called a bolt in, but there was a lot of extra work that went into it. It has been NHRA certified to 8.50 and the cert guy seems convinced it will never go that fast. He said that the IRS would keep it from going that fast; however, I know of plenty of IRS cars that have gone faster. As for painting, I am not going to paint it, I am going to have it wrapped in leather to match my steering wheel leather and have the stiching in red to match the seats. There will be windows that can be opened for testing in the coming years so I can stay legal. Since being race ready is more of a priority than looking good that will be a bit since I haven't even looked for an upolstery shop to do the work yet.
