Owned two sets myself and they dead hook. On my mustang i ran them for 6 months rain/sunshine and had no issues. Guest Removed Posted April 17, 2009 Report Share Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) more side wall is a larger foot print not only that, but watch dig cars...even the slow ones...watch the side walls. we used to video our cars leaving... one to watch wheel spin, but to also watch how the sidewall's react. i always found, the more sideway you have, the better the car hooks off the brake. thats why so many guys run the tallest tire they can in the 10.5W class's. and if you look at m/t thread width i think the 31" tall and 33" 10.5w's have less width. compared to the 29" Edited April 17, 2009 by Removed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
