wagner
I need a copy of Word for the Mac. Where is the best place to get software at? I would prefer to stay a way from ebay and would like to get it local if possible.

wagner
I forgot Microcenter sold Apple stuff. Maybe I will see how much the applestore is overcharging at lunch for this software.
SpaceGhost
You will have a hard time finding just word, You will most likely have to buy Office 2008. Or you can just download Open Office. It's free. Intel Mac download: http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=macosxintel&lang=en-US&version=3.1.

SpaceGhost
If that doesn't work and you really want Office 2008, we have it at the bookstore at CSCC, I can buy it with the academic discount. I think it's $159.99, it's the same software at Micro Center and Apple, it's just cheaper to students. If you want to pay me for it I could pick up a copy tomorrow. Flyin Miata
I think i paid 65 for my full version of office when i was at OSU I got mine when they were phasing out Office 2004, they sold me it for like 25 bucks because they "technically" were out of the license time or something, and they said that although I wouldn't "technically" be able to upgrade it, they also told me that it would still work fine. So yea I dunno, it was confusing to me but in the end I bought it for almost nothing and it still works great . I'm sure they new versions are still cheaper than any retail store though.
