Tune up: 1998 Civic - what to look for

I'll be working on a friend's civic this week, mainly just doing a basic tune up, but I am curious if there might be any issues that I may want to be aware of prior to getting my hands on her car.

dont strip the screw in the dizzy

Check the valve clearances.

 

Check the exhaust manifold for cracks around the o2 sensor hole. I've seen two of these come through in the last month and one of them had a burned valve possibly as a result of the crack.

Check the mileage and inquire about timing belt service. Some due at 90K, 105K, or 120K. Always a much appreciated reminder of possible upcoming expenses. Also check the oil pressure switch for leakage, it's on the back of the motor above the oil filter.
