88lx5oh Posted August 3, 2009 Report Share Posted August 3, 2009 I had the pleasure of detailing Chris Greens 86 Mustang SVO with the Competition package. he was mostly interested in having the interior done since it sat for some time, but still wanted a wash and wax as well. After taking delivery of the car and looking it over (he advised me when he dropped it off that he just had some things painted on it) i noticed it had a very large amount of over spray on the entire car.. all over the paint, windshield, etc. i called shortly after telling him the situation, and ased him what he wanted to do. i know he didnt want to get to deep into the paint at the moment, so i advised clay bar, and a light polish to rid of the overspray. i then sealed and waxed the car as well. the interior came out great, and he was very happy, as well as pleased very much with the exterior stating "you took 10 years off this thing" sorry i dont have any before shots, i was pretty busy with this thing and didnt stop to take any pics. the car had an almost grey color over the entire thing, and sent him a picture via my phone to show him the difference of where i clayed/polished vs what it was before. the only thing i wish i could have gotten to come out better was the wheels. the clear coat on them was damaged too much to really repair. i tried several things with no avail. after he showed up there was limited light, so pardon the poor picture quality. anyways.. i freaking love this car.. its such a classic! http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0089.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0092.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0098-1.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0100-1.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0102.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0105.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0109.jpg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
