FS or partial trade - Black Z06

Well, I have been in denial about needing to sell this. I bought it about 6 weeks ago, driven it a few hundred wonderful miles, and made it better than when I bought it.

I will probably do a much longer writeup later, but here are the important facts:

2001 Corvette Z06

Black on black

~69,xxx miles (have to go look)

Never modded, completely stock drive train from front to back.

Loyds rear cargo mat and Z06 floor mats.

Rounded rear taillight covers (not my style, they are off for now).

Optima yellow-top.

The easiest way to describe the condition is to show you pics. It's as nice or nicer than the pics. There may be cleaner ones out there, but they would be far and few between.

The car had a leaky R/R axle seal, so I replaced the seal (and side cover o-ring since I was in there). So, the rear has < 200 miles on new Mobil 1 synthetic fluid.

I changed the trans fluid last weekend, so it has < 50 miles on it. I changed the oil the same day, so it has the same mileage on 7 qts of Mobil 1 synthetic and NAPA Gold filter.

Tires are great, pads are near new, you get the idea.

I bought this car and had it transported to me from Bowling Green. The previous owner lost his job in a Corvette parts plant, or he would still have it.

I'm not looking to make money on this, and I am also not looking to give it away. My asking price is bottom dollar. I do not have time for tire kickers or lowballers. $18,950 is the price. I believe you can not find another Z06 in this condition for cheaper. Anywhere.

I would consider partial trades + cash for the car. For example, a built Mustang, Camaro, TA, etc + cash. I'll leave this ad here for a few days and list the car for a higher price on CL and the Vette forums.

Thanks.

Wanna trade the wheels? For some chrome zo6 wheels :D

I'll make you a deal. If someone prefers chrome wheels on my car, and it helps the sale, I will do all of the tire swapping and balancing for you and the new buyer for free.

yeah it would have been close to that.

p.s. the only diffenence between 385 and the 405 is the cam and valves. other than that its unchanged. .525 lift in 01' vs. .550 lift in 02-04. so its not like its worth building two different engines.

oh and if it wasn't for the fact that i already rebuilt my engine i would have tried to trade you. i wanted a black Z more than a red one.

You ever been in one? My good friend bought one because it was about the only performance car he comfortably fits in @ 6'3" and 295lbs.

Yes, my father has a 97 c5. I drove it a couple times. . my head is just very buried in the top and not a very comfortable fit. I'm 6'4" and 350. . so I got quite a bit on your buddy, which is why I drive a truck.
