Alot of peopel seem to like them though. I can understand that. I have a few "flashy" watches also but I kind of like the fact that I am wearing a $3,000 dollar watch and no one knows. Your Breitling is a beautiful watch and something similar will probably be my next purchase. I also have large wrists...if you have not worn one I would suggest trying one on. You may be surprised. -Marc

Science Abuse
Well there's the disconnect. lol I'm very non-flashy, my tastes are subtle, with an affinity for the steam age. This is the new casual watch, currently being shipped from Neuchatel: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/2545/dinop.jpg cal is circa 1955 The hands need a buffing/polishing, maybe a fresh dab of tritium paint... Will Homeland Security still let me buy that? lol

Diamonds
very nice! I was in Chicago last weekend for a mini vacation and went to Torneau to try on a Breitling Navitimer World and the sales clerk looked at me like i was some 26 year old just wasting his time... until i pulled up my sleeve to take off my Super Avenger... then he perked right up.. it's funny how ignorant and closed minded those people are.... Regardless, i found another watch that i'm considering adding to my collection, it will be the first watch i own that is not silver! yikes! Jaded is probably more the word. Imagine trying to sell a porsche, and having some kids show up to test drive it. Regardless, they're a salesman and shouldn't let that effect their sales attitude; shit happens, be professional.

Science Abuse
That's what makes him a shitty salesman. If he's on commission, he probably makes less than me. lol

Aged and older. You'll have to do some scrolling.

Not really a "him": Uhr" is Deutsche for clock/watch, more generally "timepeice". Rober Urhen just means "Robert Watches".
