watches cleaned up nicely bob. How's the cape cod cloth at taking out minor scratches? I've also seen the stuff where they give you different grit compounds and they claim it to be the best at getting out all scratches, but I'm not sure I'm a believer.

Cape Cod is good for taking out VERY minor surface blemishes. It will NOT take out scratches that you would normally find on the clasp. It will make them less visable.. .but not remove completely.

If I ever want to recondition a watch to look brand new I'd take it to DC and pay 100 (they remove movement). They do a fabulous job.

Anyone familiar with Maurice de Mauriac? I'll be in Zurich next month and I'm poking around, looking for a "boutique" watch that I can't really get anywhere else. I wonder if I should seek out antique shops.

New daily unit and my first none quartz watch.

What is that? I like the pre- Turn of the century style.

Traded my black one for this. This one "Wears larger" because it's white.
