Ok finally got some pictures. Selling this corvette for my Father. Got some more exact information and finally pictures.

1984 C4 Corvette (pretty sure this is the year)

110k+ Miles

V8 Automatic

Red interior (7/10) Not perfect but not torn up either.

Red exterior (6/10) Not perfect needs paint and some body work.

NEW Parts

New tires

New exhaust system (stock)

New headlights, bulb's, etc. (Reason being the right front got damaged by a deer).

Probably alot more, you'd have to talk to him more about it.

Lastly the cars located about 30 minutes west of Columbus in Mechanicsburg. Pictures where just taken a few days ago so what you see is what you get! Weekends only for showing/etc.

Cars not being driven as of now. Apparently there is a decent amount of white smoke from the motor when it's running and he just stopped driving it when this problem arose. Hasn't had it checked out yet because he was already looking to sell it. Vette does run and drive, you will be able to drive it home! Price is $3500 he will not consider anything less.

Could be it hasn't been checked out since it started blowing smoke cause dad was looking to sell it anyway and has other projects with the house than to put more money into the vette. It starts and runs and you can drive it home as far as I'm told but somethings surely up.

isnt 84 the lowest year hp wise?

The 1980 Cali car will be lowest. 180hp, LG4 305 with auto only.

An 84 made 205 auto and 210 manual with the Crockfire. The good news is that the 84 had the heavy-duty suspension as standard, people complained about the ride so they added a softer version in 85. The heavy-duty suspension carried on as the Z51 option.

Bump Lowest we'll take is $3500. It'll sit in the driveway and rot he says at anything lower. So if you got $3500 to spend come check it out, if you like it pay and drive it home. =P

Thanks

Ok so I finally made it out there, and started the lil beast up and there is no adnormal smoke coming from the engine or anywhere. I made him start it up multiple times and drive it as well throughout the following week and still nothing. Apparently he was doing some cleaning powerwashing, and tightening down the valve covers, etc, so my guess is some oil or something got knocked around onto the exhaust manifolds one way or another.

Anyway price stands at $3500, going to put back up on CL for $4,000 as a running car with no isssues because that is what it is.

It is his job to present the car to his knowledge, he has, anything else you want to know is up to you, not him. If you want him to figure it out, you pay him and buy the car or you walk away.

I think this is a great deal, I cannot justify having one, nor could I afford to have a fourth car right now. Good luck!
