Snowflake
Will headers off of an 01 TA fit on a 98 TA?
AJ
yes, egr is the difference between the two of them. 98 had it 01 did not. with the LS6 intake you can get rid of it.
Snowflake
Im looking at buying the headers and an LS6 intake from the same seller so it sounds like I should be ok...
MrMeanGreen
You don't need the LS6 intake. I ran non-EGR headers for years with my stock '98 LS1 intake.
Cordell
The headers are the same with just different emissions hook-ups. They can all be blocked off. Even if you didn't get an LS6 intake right away you can plug the port in your stock intake.

Even if you didn't get an LS6 intake right away you can plug the port in your stock intake. This is exact. You want to remove the emissions any way for performance. You can weld up the EGR ports, and then plug the intake and delete the air pump.
cdk 4219
No they will not bolt up to the downpipe, the 01's are shorter on the passenger side
Billiumss
Go with LT Headers and Y-pipe and call it a day....

xlr8tn
you can plug the EGR hole in the intake with a 1 3/8" exandable freeze plug if you have too. The headers will bolt right up. If you do this you really should get a tune and have the egr timing adder table zero'd out.
