Mines a 3/8ths...had it for probably 8 yrs and it works perfect. My 1/2" is a Craftsman as well, but its the beam type.

You should charge people to torque their bolts..

Yeah, I only use a beam type on large bolts when I can't use my 3/8ths.

That's where I'm at now. I just broke a banjo bolt on my new brake lines. Not sure if it was the wrench or the bolt. Though KneeDreggers is thinking it's the bold.

Should have got a craftsman to save money. does the same job and just as good of tool. One of these days I'll use mine. I have had it for a year and have yet to use it. I just like to have tools in case I ever need them.

I was at Auto Zone today for brake pads and priced the torque wrenchs: Great Neck brand, beam type $11, click type 3/8" $21, click type 1/2" $29.
