TurboNova
I ended up coming across a deal I could not pass up from a guy who used this to store his z06 overtop his restored 68 firebird. It was only used as a storage lift and never for service. Overall I feel safe under it and the locks lock real nice. Best of all it fits and I can walk under it without crouching ( I am 6' tall). The nova pictured is the longest car I have and the heaviest so it should work well http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC00947.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC00945.jpg

TurboNova
Thanks. Yeah right now I cant. I took the motor down do I can lift the car this high. I am going to have a garage door guy come out and convert my door to a "high lift door track" with a jack motor. Its what the guys over on the garage forum use. That way I can open the door and store a car under it. I plan on storing the mustang up top and the nova on the bottom over the winter

ponyjr1647545514
Dam. One of those would be great to have out in my pole barn, especially since me and my dad change out cars so often. How much do used ones go for?
TurboNova
Greg smith equipment sells em for 1895. I think after freight, or if you pick up (you have to pay sales tax) your are looking at around 2200. I got one hell of a deal on this one though
Tshensley
way to maximize space. How tall is your garage approximately?
TurboNova
just a touch under 11ft
Xyster101
That is nice! Now you need to buy other things to go with it. Like one of those roll around oil buckets with the funnel on a pipe for oil changes. A transmission/engine jack, oh so many new goodies to get. TurboNova
Hey Rob you just got to keep an eye on for em. I found this one in cincinatti on Ebay, he wanted it gone....he told me if I came and took it apart I could have it for 650.00 Needless to say I took that day off of work and went down with my car trailer and took it all apart, it was heavy as fuck!! But he only had it for 2 years, had someone professionally install it and he only stored a car on it. Guys house was sweet, you could tell he had money and did not care how much he sold it for. I was ecstatic when I saw it, it looks like brand new.
