CRAWDAD
Standard 8.8, kinda. From what I've read at work it has the 31 spline carrier and axles out of a GT500. They Still Break! I'm awaiting parts now;)

DKilbourne
No its just lsx based cars can do alot better with the same mods. Which LSX cars are we talking about? This car has very little done and show me an almost full weight, drag wheels being the exception, LS1 F-body running 11.xx with intake, exhaust, and a tune. Notice I said almost full weight and not a gutted 3000 lb or lighter F-body.

Jasons vette went 10.99 on a full weight, drag radial in rear, and headers and a tune. And it was a 6 speed car as well. Stock everything else. CRAWDAD
Just to let you know, it didn't have a CAI on it. This quote is from Evolution performance facebook page. Tomorrow Morning we will be Custom Tuning our 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V On The Dyno! We're looking to Gain Some More Power through the Ti-VCT, then we will be adding a Cold Air Intake....... Anyone that guesses the closest on the Rear Wheel Horsepower will receive a Free Evolution Performance, Inc. T-Shirt! Remember it ma...de 405 RWHP and 375 RWTQ the last time it was on the dyno! RUTAN TA1647545492
It wouldnt happen in a stock LSx car because the rearend will break trying to leave that hard. BUT, nice car and great ET
Mattsv8
thats damn good for how much a mustang costs and what parts it has done. still way cheaper than a vette or new sports car. and faster. i like it, cant fit in it but like it. Mowgli1647545497
engine vs engine - not car vs car - so far that engine looks better than the LSx line. alot better. I may be dropping the V sometime soon for one of these (once the kid is out of a carseat).
DKilbourne
Not that it matters, but here is an auto '11 GT running against what I would call it's competition, if you can even call it that. Enjoy http://www.streetfire.net/video/2011-mustang-gt-drag-race_2004337.htm?ref=23680422-bd33-409c-b991-9870005d77bb

Was that Mustang even stock? You don't even get to see the Camaro launch. I am doubting it. But here are the dyno graphs from LG Motorsports getting 424 RWHP on a LS3 Camaro, bolt on's: http://www.lgmotorsports.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=31&pos=

We all know it's a heavy car, but that's not my fault. Let's see... a lighter car making roughly the same power.....I wonder what is going to happen? I also highly doubt that the high 15, low 16 second V6 camaro would be in the picture at all.
