Sam1647545489 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 Well since this is the 3rd time I have had an issue with jet style boats, I got sick of them. My seadoo is being fixed and the insurance company did cover it, thank god. But this whole summer I have been watching craigslist everyday and finally stumble across a diamond in the rough. I found a guy who lived right down the road from me in pataskala. He works at a body shop and has not had the time to take this thing out at all. It was well maintained from what I can tell. It has a stock 350 motor, 270hp with a thru hall exhaust. It sounds mean. Top speed is 55mph which is slower then the seadoo but it will ride 10x better as it is a deep v hall. It has the alpha one outdrive. but that will do for now. Its a 22 ft with a cuddy which I wanted. It needs a wax job, and interior cleaning. No biggie to me at all. The only issue with it is it needs a front windshield which will be fixed tomorrow. The old one cracked and he pulled it out and never got to replacing it. Like I said a piece of lexan and some tint and its fixed. The plan is to put a kick ass stereo in it and run it the way it is the rest of the year. Then this winter, hopefully drop in a lsx style motor with better heads and alil more cam. It will need a paint job on the trailer and the original tire and wheel put back on as one of them blew out. Fixed a few small things and added a sub in the rear for some bumps. I need to get a few more subs as 1 12 inch is not enough. This weekend we are gonna tackle the front window. We also changed all the plugs and a few other things. We will be at alum tomorrow night at 6 to see how it runs. I am hoping it runs good on the water and doesnt have any issues.
