Needless to say its a mess of stuff sitting everywhere and wires in knots. I need some ideas of how to handle this and what entertainment setups are out there so lets see them please. You can use plastic tubing to run your wires through and keep them from getting tangled together. Keeps everthing looking nice and neat. Velodyne 10" sub. I wall fished all the speaker wire, so all the surround speakers have their own jacks. I also wall fished a CAT5 line to feed my PS3. I'm sure there are other places to get around town or maybe cheaper online, but I got it at Micro Center. You can get a lot of different little connectors there too, like every 90 degree hdmi connector to help route the cables. If you own a house run the wires through the walls and get wall plates from Micro Center or http://www.monoprice.com For behind the a/v stuff, put everything in there 1 by 1 and run the wires. Wrap the wires up and hold them together with something. I use simple wire ties, like you get with trash bags or on bread bags. Very easy to use and reuse. Be methodic and slow with this process and it will help. You can get some 'exact' length (by the foot) cables from these websites to help cut down on the wire clutter. http://www.tartancable.com/ http://www.bluejeanscable.com/ Tartan is their less expensive but still very well made line. Owned in the USA, all HDMI cables terminated in the US and probably the only place that makes HDMI cables in the US. All but 1 of their HDMI cable lines is made in the US. Which is why outside of my very few home-protection firearms(luckily my wife trained in law enforcement so she's very comfortable shooting), I have a monitored alarm system with motion and glass-break detection, interior-installed NID, and a dog that weighs more than I do (200+ he hasn't been to the vet in awhile so Im not totally sure), and doesn't care for strangers. I live where there is really no crime (out in the country) so I dont think about that stuff. The pics helped, now I'm trying to figure out how to arrange things so the 360, PS3, HK receiver and cable box do not heat soak eachother all below the Plasma. With all of those game systems you'll need something bigger than your typical entertainment center.
