Benner
Check out easytether. It allows you to tether a computer to the internet without the fees. I'm running my laptop on it right now testing it out. Pulled 1.85 down but and .85 up. It's not very strong in my house though.
frenchy chan
are you using the lite version? what does "full app allows https." mean? i'm clueless on a lot of this stuff
Benner
Evidently it doesn't allow some secured websites but I haven't found any yet. I'm running the free version right now. If everything looks good I'll probably buy the full version. And for sites such as forums it's plenty quick since they don't require much bandwidth to load. sol740
It will allow secure sites temporarily, then if you want to keep access you have to buy the full. Not a bad deal compared to PDAnet (I think 9 bucks compared to 30), but I'm rooted so I'll just not pay instead

dakotart
It will allow secure sites temporarily, then if you want to keep access you have to buy the full. Not a bad deal compared to PDAnet (I think 9 bucks compared to 30), but I'm rooted so I'll just not pay instead PDAnet is regular $24. currently $16 though. I'm running the trial version and am now getting the "must be registered to access https" message. If I click on that, then click on the "Buy" button and select either paypal or credit card it will open up the payment website. I then close out of that window and can freely browse any http or https website (until I disconnect)
