jeep mechanic needed

I'm looking for a mechanic familiar with Jeep XJ's, I need the front windshield washer fluid pump installed and I'm getting irregular engine temperature readings from time to time.

 

I'd rather not have to get raped by a dealership for these, but I'm not familiar with any mechanics in columbus yet.

yeah, it runs normally at 210, then spikes all the way over to the end of the red for a minute or so, then goes back to normal

thats a easy fix more then likely its the coolant temp sensor. things to check.

 

with engine cold it should read 7000 ohms or greater. If it doesn't its bad.

 

with engine warmed up to normal temp it should read 1000 ohms or less. again if it doesn't its bad.

 

the sensor is at the very front of the engine where the radiator hose is connected at.
