OMG!!! I am at the lab right now, by myself... or so I thought. I'm kinda rockin out with my mp3 player and what not, I come around the corner and happen to glance inside of a dark conference room, and I see a hand... yeah, a hand in a dark conference room, then I notice another hand, and legs... there's a person in a chair in a dark conference room in the middle of the freakin night.... whatdoidowhatdoidowhatdoido??? i can safely say that I almost had a heart attack. I basically have locked myself in my lab and plan on finishing my experiments and making a mad dash for the elevator, bc i'm creeped out.

Who does that??

oh, you think its funny!!! ... ok it is kinda funny.

More funny is my reaction to it. I taped paper towels over the window to the lab bc I kept thinking I was gonna turn around and see someone watching me.

Call campus security when you're ready to leave.....Let them use the mace! ;)

so this is pretty funny, I turned off all the lights in the lab and peaked out the window into the conference room... the guy wasn't there... so i called a friend who i knew would be awake and narrated my escape from the building... its funny bc I like to think i'm tough, but then one guy who probably just needed a nap scares the crap out of me... haha

Anyway, I'm home/safe. :)

heheh, at our campus, we find them in the strangest places...

But honestly, it being OSU, I remember not even going home, just sleeping in my labs for a couple of hours before classes started.

I've caught janitors sleeping on floors in dark rooms.

I've caught strange people in dark computer labs locked in all night surfing the internet. In between quarters when campus was closed even.

It is ok to call your campus police and ask them what to do. They have a lot of experience with situations like that.

Who does that??

We have that happen sometimes in Derby. It is usually a 3rd shift custodial worker trying to get out of working.

For future reference, try 292-2121. Police Department. Chances are it was probably a homeless person...or someone watching porn. Though, being a lab it could have been a theif clearing house. There has been a lot of burglaries in the labs at night the last 3 weeks.

Its better to let someone that knows how to take care of things like that deal with it, then let you know your ok and who it actually was.

:nono: Your friend on the phone couldn't have helped you should something have gone down. Person on phone does not = the "buddy system" ;)

Glad you got home OK
