Sure beat the crap out of a 1990 C4.

HEY!!!!

Wait...you're right. :)

EDIT: Holy cow that NSX at Denny Dotson is riDONKulous. Whomever paid for that redux lost a lot of money if they sell it for $25k. The yellow is too much, but I appreciate the attention to detail and how much all the bolt-on gee-gaws cost...

lol.

I know in 2005, when they finally killed it, it was grossly underpowered even at a potentially underrated 290hp, but I think people forget that it was developed in the 80s and wasn't really all that expensive. Sure beat the crap out of a 1990 C4.

the NSX proved that a car didn t need a ton of HP to be fun to drive

a stock one is a formidable beast on track

1350kg, mid engine, 290HP with VTAK (yo) aluminum frame, kickass suspension geometry that makes the Mclaren F1 drool (Gordon Murray admitted it...if you don t know who Gordon Murray is, don t even try to argue this point)

the NSX gave supercars in its day a good run for their money even though it had 200 less HP for a good fraction of the price

drive one and you'll see why

^^ this.

My friend from C&C last spring let me drive his NSX and was amazed at the handling. I would equate it to going bareback with a hot chick vs wearing a rubber glove. You have to experience it to appreciate it.

Bunch of haters in here lol. I'm sure I will eat saying this, but I would rather have a NSX over an Elise. Now I am assuming that the modified MKIII MR2 I drove is anywhere in the neighborhood of a stock Elise, I know FOR SURE I would like the NSX better.

It has close to the same torque curve as a 70's, 80's 911, just more modern. Don't get me wrong I would take the older 911 any day over the NSX, but the NSX is what I am shooting for "feel wise" with going V6 in the MR2.

If it was a stock motor, then no, not anywhere near it. There are quite a few running around with the same motor as the Elise and since it doesn't have the crappy Lotus ecu you can get a much better powerband.

try working on an NSX while getting flat rate pay shit sucks!! that and all OEM parts have to be imported, main reason the NSX cost so much is due to the fact that the majority of it was hand built and not mass produced on an assembly line.
